Research Governance Manager
A highly well-regarded establishment in Lancashire are seeking the interim employment of an expert Research Governance Manager on an initial three month interim contract.
Overseeing a growing team, you will be required to lead a Research Governance Unit, providing expert advice and guidance to academics, senior management and research leads.
The Research Governance Manager role will also require the management of ethics and integrity issues relating to research with the department, covering NHS research as part of the remit.
With flexible working hours, you will lead strategy and developments around research governance and be responsible for the management of a strong three-person team.
Units and duties will include:
- Grants and Funding
- Research Excellence
- Researcher Development
- Ethics and Integrity
- Committee work
- Policy writing
- Human tissue work
- Invivo Testing issues
You will be required to:
- Have experience as a Research Governance Manager
- Knowledge of NHS research practices
