National Apprenticeship Week
After enrolling at Solihull Sixth Form to study A Levels in Psychology, Sociology and Health & Social care, I decided that this wasn’t the career path I wanted.
I decided to go down the route of earning whilst learning and decided to apply for Apprenticeship positions. I knew I wanted to work within an office environment and after weeks of searching, Key Training advertised a Receptionist/Administrator position which I immediately applied for.
I received a call from Sam Jones, Recruitment Consultant at Key Training who assisted me throughout the interview process, constantly keeping me updated. I was very fortunate to have been successful and was soon offered a position working at Kate+Co.
I started my role on 6th November 2017 and immediately fell in love with job. Entering such a welcoming and loving environment made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. My Line Manager Yvonne King, has trained me in all aspects of my role and is always very supportive and patient with me.
Naomi who is my assessor with Key Training is extremely friendly and easy to speak to and is always there to offer advice and support with any issues or problems I have in completing my assessments.
I have been with Kate+Co for four months now and have learned so much and really enjoy every aspect of the recruitment industry, so much so that I have applied for an internal position which has been offered to me. This will involve administration and customer service, supporting the Temporaries Division which I am really excited about. I look forward to my future at Kate+Co and learning more about the recruitment process.
